Did y'all survive the tornado? We hope so, prayers for our OK friends!?
Everytime we come through El Reno, we gotta get an onion burger from Sid's. The Onion rings and malts are great as well!
MoreDelicious real down home cooking. I ordered the breakfast special with biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were delicious. It's a small place but made it feel more homey. I would suggest Sid's Diner.
MoreThis place was fun! It felt like a local hot spot and we enjoyed our time here. I wish their fries were crispier but they were still good. And the fried onion burger was good but not anything life changing. The peanut butter chocolate shake was my favorite part, actually, and it was delicious!
MoreI’ve been coming to Sid’s consistently for 3+ years now. I travel all over the State for my job and I can honestly say that this is the best burger I’ve come across. The owners and staff are always friendly and treat you like family. Plus the setting is like being in a 1950s style diner. This is a must visit place if you are traveling through Oklahoma.
MoreExemplary presentation of a 1950s styled roadhouse cafe along historic Route 66 In El Reno, Oklahoma serves up the best onion burgers ever! Better than Red or White Fit Cafes or Smashburgers!
MoreWe stopped in El Reno for the night and found Sid’s diner serendipitously. What a wonderful establishment! The nostalgia, the multi generational owned business, and Marty! The burgers were great, and it’s clear that others think the same thing considering the number of awards they have won with magazines across the country. Thank you for your amazing hospitality Marty!
MoreSid’s dinner is the best burger ever ! My grandson was in a band “Signs of Warning “ and played at Sid’s back in 2014. Every time he had a gig in that area we eat at Sid’s. I wish we lived closer, so we could eat there more often. The food and service is impeccable. We are planning a road trip just to eat here !
MoreWe just went on a two week road trip around the US and made a point to stop at places that were regionally specific. Oklahoma? Onion burger. Looking back on the trip Sid's was one of my favorite spots. Great diner atmosphere, super nice people, and a really great hamburger. Will definitely stop in next time I head toward OKC.
MoreSO GOOD!!!!! Ive heard of this place, and was able to finally try it with my wife! I got the double king... insanely delicious! Fries have thier own taste to them! So yummy! And my chocolate shake was great! Definitely my favorite burger ive ever had! Marty was working very hard and diligently! He did forget to make my wife's burger, but they were very busy, and it was well worth a few extra minutes for him to cook it! He apologized multiple times, but we were just blessed to be able to be there and get some awesome food! Marty seems to have a great servants heart, and we were blessed by him! Great service and great food! We will definitely be back!
MoreSid"s, an Oklahoma original! Wonderful onion burger! More fries than you can eat! Endless refills. (Serving Pepsi products) This place is so popular, it's harder to get out than it is to get in! Serious. There was such a large crowd coming in, I waited to leave because it was going to be a fight to get to the door to get out! Honest. Most importantly, the burgers and fries are everything you would expect! It's good! If you're anywhere west of the Mississippi, it's close enough to make the trip. Get to coming!
MoreBest onion burger in the State! Love the atmosphere and friendly staff. A must try.
MoreAbsolutely the best burger around! Great service, great food, and a great atmosphere. They have been on several TV shows and I'm glad we live close by.
MoreMy family and I are traveling from Texas. We stopped here to eat after seeing it in TV. I think it was the scenery that was disappointing. The burgers were good, It’s just nothing like an old fashioned diner at all. The banana split my parents ordered, the ice cream was out of a machine. The old time diners I’ve been too had the scooped ice cream. With that being said the ice cream was melting before it got to the table. The employees were nice but we had to keep grabbing our waitress attention. This place just wasn’t our cup of tea.
MoreLove this spot!! Always have to stop by for a burger when we are out this way.
Sid's is our favorite place to eat. El Reno or Union City. We live in Carnegie okla. We try to stop every time we go to the city. The people that work there are great. Never been disappointed.
MoreEpic onion burgers (come with an appetite and try the giant) where the onions aren't too bitey, the burger and cheese perfectly seasoned and cooked and the prices incredibly reasonable. When in El Reno, this is a key stop!
MoreReally good. Just as the TV show describes it. This place has very little seating so we got it to go and ate it at home. So far the best burger in El Reno
MoreSadly, I didn't like this place. Even though it has accolades from Man Vs Food and a few other TV shows or celebrities, it just wasn't for me. I got the double Patty king size onion burger and onion rings. While the rings were great, the burger was a complete let down. I'm not sure they even used salt and pepper to season the meat at all. It soley depends on the onions for flavor...and they also dropped a scoop of pure grease from the fry and onion rings out into the burger. So basically, it tasted like greasy, unseasoned grill scrapings, with some bread and whatever condiments you add.Just go here and be your own judge...I really liked the small town diner feel to the place though.
MoreOh man. If u love grilled onions and 50s diner u will love this place :)
The number 1 best onion burger I've ever had! Just get a half order of fries because a full order is enough for 2 people! Hand cut and fresh, not frozen. Their shakes are also amazing and huge! It's very small inside so get cozy with your neighbor. The food is always consistent and the staff is very friendly.
MoreHot, delicious breakfast was served quicker than any other diner I've eaten at. The staff was friendly as can be and the prices were very fair. I was pleasantly surprised with Sid's Diner and recommend them to anyone who wants a home cooked meal without having to cook or breaking the bank!
MoreTake the trip out to Sids!! Awesomeness on a bun!! The orders of fries are huge and delicious!! Service was outstanding!!
MoreTiny place. Great breakfast. We both got the breakfast special w/ biscuits and gravy. (2 eggs, meat, hashbrowns) The ham was amazing. Vanilla shake was SO good! Tasted like homemade ice cream.
MoreWish I could give it 6 stars! Classic American Diner, right on the corner of Route 66. Sid’s is known for the Original Onion burgers Friendly people, superb atmosphere, and great american road food. I enjoyed my visit to this Iconic location where a lot of the Food Network Shows have visited over the years. It really takes you back to a great time and place, I wish we had a local place like this in my home town. When you walk in you are met with a Patriotic Wall Dedicated to Military Veterans. I waited for a empty stool to try these burgers and a small fry. Food was served fast and the bun was very warm. Adam the cook gave me a little more insight on Sids and El Reno while l was enjoying this Iconic burger. The current location of Sid’s use to be the location of the El Reno Hotel. I highly recommend you make a stop by Sid’s
MoreAwesome little diner, known for there onion burger. The back of the menu tells you the history of it. It was an amazing bigger and I loved there French fries, get a half order for just 2 people. And there milk shake was very good too. Not too expensive at all and they have had the same guy flipping these burgers for over 50years. Amazing service. It is small so prime lunch time I would imagine is real busy.if I am back on rt66 again I would def stop here.
MoreI would not go back until the inside dining is open. We ordered for four people at the drive through and were told they would bring our order to a picnic table. Drinks arrived promptly, but it was 30 minutes before food showed up and then only because we asked about it.
MoreThe best fry onion's hamburgers in the state you just got to stop by and have one.
MoreCozy diner with the best burgers in the area. You have to try their home made chili and slaw.
MoreTried this place with husband whole touring some spots on Route 66. I'll be honest, the onion burger tasted like an onion burger. Shocking! Maybe I like more substance or flavor to the meat, but it just seemed like it was lacking. The cheese tots were stellar. Super crispy even after covered in cheese. We encountered a rush even close to opening, so be prepared for a wait. The service was good. Definitely a little cute hole in the wall place - very small.
MoreThe onion burgers are amazing! And that huge heap of fries are as well! Great place.
MoreSid's is a great little stop in El Reno, Oklahoma! Soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with big smiles. It looks like a small diner on the outside but inside it's filled with old memorabilia and pictures everywhere. There is booths, tables and a bar counter to sit at. You can watch the cooks prepare your meal while you wait and some regular customers they knew by name. This diner was featured on Food Paradise, Bizarre Foods, Man vs. Food, Food Network's Top 5 Burgers and The Travel Channel. Our meal was made perfectly and so delicious. The cost was around $30.00 for a party of 3, not bad for the amount of food you get on your plate. We'll definitely be back.
MoreSid’s Diner in El Reno, Oklahoma has the best made to order breakfast on the planet. My two sons’ and I are looking forward to a nice family road trip to El Reno, Oklahoma this summer. We want to visit Sid’s Diner for the very first time, and to enjoy the best made to order breakfast menu ever.I’m looking forward to trying Sid’s Diner, French toast and home made biscuit with gravy.
MoreGreat local dinner with a lot of classics on the menu. The place is simple but has a lot of history and fame in it. The staff are very nice and great to talk with. The place can get crowded and super busy.
MoreThe best burgers in America. The King burger with fried onions is my comfort food. For the sides a full order of fries, tots, or onion rings is enough for a family of four.
MoreIf you're looking for an authentic onion burger, Sid's is the best. Our business orders for Sid's several times a month and our orders are always fresh, precise, and delicious. The employees are friendly and helpful each time as well. Their online ordering is quick and easy too. We would highly recommend.
MoreI loved it but my husband and 2 kids didn't. Burger was amazing and everyone inside was super nice. I think my family has been exposed to too much junk restraunts. I will go again if I am in the area!
MoreDelicious burgers Small.Small place !!
Great service with good food! What more can I say!!
Sid’s is a gem. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all great. May have to get there early to get a seat as the demand is always high. Highly recommend the King burger and any of the milkshakes. One of my great ambitions in life is to grow up to be one of the regulars that eat at the bar each morning. Don’t miss it.
MoreIt's every bit as great as I had always heard about it. Great service, friendly people, excellent food & a feel good homely place. Loved the tables of old pictures & the wall of Veterans pictures. Takes you back to a time & era that will never be again! The banana cherry milkshake is a taste of heaven!!!!!!!
MoreGreat burger and the single order of fries was enough for the five of us. Service was outstanding as well.
MoreBest onion burger around. Head to El Reno and follow the amazing smell of fried onions!!!
MoreSid’s diner is a small and well hyper restaurant known for its onion burgers. It is located just off of Interstate 40 close where once Route 66 passed through. It is this historical cool location that adds to Sid’s hype. For me, Sid’s could just as easily be found serving the same quality food off of southbound Route 9 in New Jersey. The burgers are very good. They also have a selection of breakfast items on the menu. If you are passing through El Reno Oklahoma stop off at Sid’s for an eclectic diner experience.
MoreGot a half order of fries and a regular double, the seating is a bit cramped but the food and service more then make up for it. If you go don't forget to grab a malt or a shake to top off your meal. Love this place!
MoreThe most delicious burger and coney in the world...and I have traveled All over this wonderful earth. Not boasting, not rich, just saying.
MoreOmg so good please take time to stop in for a great burger The service is outstanding as well. This is a small place with a Ton of charm.
MoreWas in the area for work from south Texas and google maps is my friend when it comes to finding food. Glad I chose it to eat a awesome burger.
MoreLOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Easily the best burger on all of Route 66. Their Chilli Dog is out of this world, you got the buy a bottle of their Slaw. The owners and waitress are amazing and friendly. I felt very much at home. Great food, perfect service. A must stop!
MoreOld School 1950s diner.....!. I'd just been ORed from the Canadian County Jail (possession of marijuana, grinder & pipe 🤪) about a mile away, Googled close restaurants & walked here....... I had one of the Best Grilled ham & cheese sandwiches I'd ever had!!!!!!! The large milk was Huge & the coffee was good with endless refills.....!.
MoreMy Aunt Doris took us here for a wonderful onion burger. The place was packed which is always a great sign. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is eclectic and they have a wall dedicated entirely to our military
